Through An Exile Lens - Thoughts and Imaginings of Tibet. The Through an Exile Lens Project brings together an exciting selection of recent work, offering new insights into current life in Tibet and exploring the exile 'condition' of Tibetan refugees in India. With a range of feature films, documentaries, short films, a photography exhibition, poetry readings and forums, this project seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the true realities of what it means to be Tibetan today. NEW DELHI, INDIA
March 17th, 2008 – 1,200 Tibetan flags distributed
Olympic Torch Student Awareness Campaign: Delhi University
For the occasion of the Olympic Torch Relay in New Delhi on April 17th, RTFC’s Delhi team focused on building a platform for awareness and friendship amongst Indian students and distributed Tibetan flags in throughout the Delhi University campus. *RTFC will be organizing ongoing Tibet related documentary screenings and forums in Delhi schools and universities this summer.

DHARAMSALA, INDIA
April 7th to April 19th, 2008 – 500 Tibetan flags distributed
2008 International Peace Exhibition in Dharamsala
United for the purpose of promoting peace and awareness for Tibet, this inaugural Peace Exhibition showed the notions of peace, freedom and justice through art and music. Exhibited at the Tibet Museum in Dharamsala, we featured the work of 27 photographers, painters, multi-media and video artists, performance artists and musicians from 13 countries across the world. DHARAMSALA, INDIA
March 17th, 2008 – 4,000 Tibetan flags distributed
RTFC and Tibetan National Flag Day are Born
One week after the events of the March 10th commendation of the Tibetan Uprising, RTFC launched Tibetan National Flag Day and distributed 4,000 Tibetan flags at the Dharamsala bus stand. In efforts to pay homage for those who have suffered or died inside Tibet, RTFC established its mission of promoting peace and awareness through raising Tibetan flags worldwide to open the dialogue about Tibet amongst the citizens of the world.
